I have always found concert music a special form of self-exploration, as well as a way to get out of the ordinary world of ‘time.’ From composition to performance, I’m always intrigued by what my performers reveal.
“Once Spoken” is an ethereal and contemplative work, in which rhythms, melodies, and instrumental color, continually evolve and migrate.
The spirit of this semi-improvised and aleatoric piece is that of ‘play,’ ranging from children’s games (running, jumping, sliding, hiding, etc.) to the Sanskrit principal of lila (“divine play”).
Above the Shadow

Apache Wedding Blessing
The heartbeat of this piece is prayerfulness, wisdom, and love.
